Job Title: Assistant Manager
Location: Barrie
Job Description: The Assistant Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing, in tandem with the Senior Assistant Manager, all aspects of the Front of the House operations to ensure a seamless and profitable dining experience. This includes managing staff, controlling costs, maintaining high-quality service standards, and maximizing overall efficiency.

Responsibilities:
- Works closely with senior leadership to support daily restaurant operations and short- and long-term objectives
- Leads by example, consistently delivering genuine hospitality to both guests and team members
- Maintains a strong presence on the floor, engaging with guests to ensure a positive and memorable experience
- Supports initiatives that drive sales performance and contribute to overall profitability
- Assists with the hiring process, including interviewing, onboarding, and training front line and leadership team members
- Supports the development of team members through hands on coaching, ongoing feedback, and training reinforcement, helping build engagement, accountability, and growth at all levels
- Oversees front of house leadership areas during assigned shifts to ensure consistency, accountability, and operational success
Qualifications: To excel in this role, you should possess:
- 2+ years Leadership experience in a full-service restaurant or bar
- Proven leadership skills: desire to develop and motivate the people around you to always be their best
- Energetic and positive
- Strong patience and communication skills
- Drive for continuous improvement
- Committed to being inclusive and embracing diversity
- Experience in leadership development an asset
