Doug Ross

Doug is the co-founder and Operating Partner of Blue Shock Executive Search, leading professional management searches since incorporating the business in 2003. His focus is restaurants, hospitality/hotels, food service as well as executive search in North America.

Doug has successfully executed management-level searches in operations such as General Managers, Chefs, F & B Managers and Directors, among others. He has also been sourcing and placing senior-level executives, including Directors, Vice Presidents, Presidents, COO’s, CFO’s and CEO’s.

Doug is confident in his ability to recruit across Canada & the United States with highly competitive markets attracting candidates through aggressive programs and strategies.He is committed to delivering a unique and dynamic approach and achieving results through building long-standing relationships with his clients and candidates. Before Doug established Blue Shock Executive Search in 2003, he had a long and prosperous career in restaurants, leading a business for one of the most successful national restaurant chains in North America. He also experienced multi-unit management, leading training for new restaurant openings, and worked as an operations trainer in the U.S, impacting and influencing all operations.

Doug is an avid sports fan and a passionate dad. His passions include skiing, golf, squash, cooking, wine and living his best life with his wife Tanya and daughters Emma and Sophie.


Trevor Wowniar

Trevor is a Co-Founder and Partner of Blue Shock and is focused on the firm’s Western Canadian Market.

Before starting Blue Shock, Trevor enjoyed a 14-year hospitality career gaining insight into a various of independent and chain restaurant concepts, hotels & resorts and golf clubs. About half of his restaurant career was spent in the leadership ranks with Earls Restaurants. After leaving the restaurant industry, Trevor spent 4 years with Manpower, one of the world’s largest temporary and direct hire staffing firms. His time with Manpower was focused on Business development for the first 3 years; he then moved into the Branch Manager position and oversaw the Temporary staffing division for the Calgary operation.

Since 2003 Trevor has been focused on assisting Blue Shock’s clients to achieve their recruitment and growth strategies. He is responsible for numerous senior and mid-level management searches for various restaurants, hotels, golf clubs, casinos and consumer services. He is also involved in or manages each search for senior-level Directors, Vice Presidents, COO’s, CEO and Presidents for some of Canada’s largest and most recognized restaurant and food service companies.

Trevor enjoys golf, camping, cooking and travel. You can also find him keeping up with the local food trends, enjoying a good bottle of wine and cooking and entertaining friends and family. But most of his free time is spent with his daughter Kira, son Tyler and wife Leona.


Tom Sieluzycki

Joining Blue Shock in 2017, Tom has spent the past number of years cultivating strong relationships with Clients and Candidates in Hotels, Restaurants, and Night Life Hospitality Venues. After more than a decade in restaurant leadership and working for some of Toronto’s most successful restaurant groups, Tom has managed and built key teams in a various of venues. Tom brings an innate ability to understand operations and provide insight into the recruitment conversation. Expanding to the U.S in 2019, Tom is active in key markets throughout North America, and he is excited to continue to expand his network and help our clients build high-performing teams.

You will find Tom spending his down time on a sailboat, or at the cottage and spending time with his wife Emma and daughter Reni.


Lindsay Bath

With over 20 cherished years in the hospitality industry, Lindsay's enthusiasm for hospitality recruitment comes from her extensive industry knowledge and the ability to be a key player. The majority of her experience has been in high-volume restaurants in Toronto and across the GTA. She enjoys that recruiting provides a platform to develop long-term relationships with a diverse set of individuals she could help and expand their careers.


With her unique approach to delivering top results joining Blue Shock was a no-brainer. Lindsay also comes with vast expertise in Marketing and obtained education from both Centennial College and York University; she understands the importance of thinking outside the box and how to change with the trends. During her time in the industry, she excelled in corporate and franchise settings as an owner of her own successful Marketing company, multi-unit corporate Marketing Manager, GM and Operating Partner. Joining Blue Shock in 2021, Lindsay has been focused on mid and senior-level searches for various corporate and independent restaurant concepts in Ontario, BC and Atlantic Canada.


Lindsay is also a published best-selling author and has a series of children's books. If she is not working, you can catch her sipping a cocktail at any Toronto hotspot and spending time with her husband and daughter, Blake. She enjoys relaxing at the cottage, having dinner with family/friends and attending all Toronto sporting events.
