General Manager

We are seeking an experienced, hospitality-driven General Manager to lead a premier fine-dining restaurant known for exceptional cuisine, warm hospitality, and impeccable service standards.
This role is ideal for a leader who thrives in a polished, high-expectation environment and understands that memorable dining experiences are built through attention to detail, team development, and genuine guest engagement. The successful candidate will be passionate about food, wine, hospitality, and creating a culture of excellence that inspires both guests and team members.

As General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring every guest receives an outstanding dining experience while driving financial performance, developing talent, and maintaining the highest standards of service, culinary execution, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Development

  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performing team of hospitality professionals.
  • Establish clear performance expectations and accountability measures.
  • Create a culture built on professionalism, teamwork, respect, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead by example through visible, hands-on leadership in the dining room and throughout the operation.
  • Mentor managers and team members to support career growth and succession planning.
Guest Experience & Hospitality Excellence
  • Champion an elevated guest experience and ensure service standards consistently exceed expectations.
  • Build meaningful relationships with guests and create a culture of genuine hospitality.
  • Address guest concerns with professionalism, urgency, and discretion.
  • Maintain exceptional dining room standards, ensuring every touchpoint reflects the restaurant's commitment to excellence.
  • Review guest feedback and implement strategies that drive loyalty, retention, and repeat business.
Operations Management
  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring seamless coordination between front and back of house teams.
  • Maintain strict compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and food handling standards.
  • Ensure consistent execution of company standards, policies, and operating procedures.
  • Manage inventory, purchasing, and vendor relationships to support quality and profitability goals.
  • Collaborate closely with culinary leadership to ensure exceptional food quality, presentation, and timing.
Financial Leadership
  • Drive sales growth while maintaining a strong focus on profitability.
  • Analyze sales, labor, food cost, beverage cost, and operating expenses to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and execute plans to achieve revenue and financial objectives.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting with accuracy and accountability.
  • Ensure operational decisions align with both guest satisfaction and financial performance goals.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5+ years of senior management experience in upscale dining, fine dining, premium casual, steakhouse, or luxury hospitality environments.
  • Demonstrated success leading high-volume restaurants while maintaining exceptional guest service standards.
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop teams.
  • Passion for hospitality, culinary excellence, wine, and guest engagement.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant financials, including budgeting, labor management, food-and-beverage cost controls, and profit optimization.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Experience with restaurant management systems, reservation platforms, and POS technology.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
