Trevor is a Co-Founder and Partner of Blue Shock and is focused on the firm’s Western Canadian Market.
Before starting Blue Shock, Trevor enjoyed a 14-year hospitality career gaining insight into a various of independent and chain restaurant concepts, hotels & resorts and golf clubs. About half of his restaurant career was spent in the leadership ranks with Earls Restaurants. After leaving the restaurant industry, Trevor spent 4 years with Manpower, one of the world’s largest temporary and direct hire staffing firms. His time with Manpower was focused on Business development for the first 3 years; he then moved into the Branch Manager position and oversaw the Temporary staffing division for the Calgary operation.
Since 2003 Trevor has been focused on assisting Blue Shock’s clients to achieve their recruitment and growth strategies. He is responsible for numerous senior and mid-level management searches for various restaurants, hotels, golf clubs, casinos and consumer services. He is also involved in or manages each search for senior-level Directors, Vice Presidents, COO’s, CEO and Presidents for some of Canada’s largest and most recognized restaurant and food service companies.
Trevor enjoys golf, camping, cooking and travel. You can also find him keeping up with the local food trends, enjoying a good bottle of wine and cooking and entertaining friends and family. But most of his free time is spent with his daughter Kira, son Tyler and wife Leona.
