A seasoned Manager or Regional Manager in restaurants or retail.

Our mission is to revolutionize the tea and bakery customer experience in Canada.  We are currently looking for highly talented and passionate individuals to join our head office team in North York. Reporting to the Head of Franchising and Expansion, our Franchise Performance Manager will work directly with our franchisees to build trusting relationships and enable their long term success by supporting operational excellence and hitting financial targets.

Responsibilities include:

  • Act as the primary Head Office contact for Franchise Partners
  • Regularly visit franchised stores and engage with franchise owners to understand key issues/concerns and work with the head office teams to provide the necessary support
  • Work with franchisees to support their growth and development - understand their capabilities and work with them on areas of growth as store operators and managers
  • Review and analyze operating, financial, and business information and work with Franchise partners to improve overall results while ensuring the stores meet business and operating standards and guidelines.  Advise on and coordinate head office support to achieve financial benchmarks when necessary
  • Provide operational guidance and review requirements to achieve high audit scores
  • Ensure store compliance with Head Office requirements, policies, and programs
  • Gain buy in and provide consultation on local marketing initiatives
  • Consult, gain input and support implementation of new initiatives
  • Other duties from time to time as required by the manager
What qualifies you for this job:
  • Experience as a manager or regional manager of a retail store
  • Understanding of operations, people management and financial aspects of managing a retail location
  • Experience managing a food & beverage retail location is preferred
  • Ability to build trusting relationships with franchisees
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel and flexibility to work after hours if required
  • Have a valid drivers license
