A hands on Kitchen Manager with an ability to multi-task.

Our client is looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team in Vaughn. This position is ideal for an individual with supervisory or managerial experience in a casual dining or pub fair environment. This position requires the individual to have a flexible work schedule as it will include days, night shifts and weekends
 
Our KMs are hands-on and work closely with kitchen staff to ensure compliance with all company standards and procedures and to deliver the perfect guest experience to our guests each and every time. 
 
As the Kitchen Manager you will be responsible for:
  • Line cooking
  • Food preparation
  • Large function planning and execution
  • Executing food cost control systems
  • Executing labour control systems
  • Hiring and development of kitchen staff
  • Upholding all food safety standards
  • Ordering and inventory control
  • Maintaining kitchen operational systems
 
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Previous management/supervisory experience
  • Work days, evenings, and/or weekends as required
  • Must have regular and predictable attendance
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills
