The Senior Chef will create passion and enthusiasm for the company vision “To be the most loved and best run restaurant in North America”. They will ensure that the standards are executed flawlessly throughout the kitchen every day.
Kitchen Operations Management
- Developing the kitchen teams through extensive training ensuring they fully understand the brand and company vision & values
- Responsible for hiring, promoting and developing personnel performance and growth
- Identifying potential leadership potentials and monitoring and supporting their development in order to sustain regional and national organizational growth targets
- Leading large teams within large sales volumes in Boston
- Building your management teams within your restaurant as well as the leadership teams in the other restaurants in the community
- Mentoring other Chefs
- Building the food program in Boston
- Responsible for restaurant revenues and meeting financial targets within your restaurant as well as other restaurants in the community
- Responsible for daily/weekly/monthly numbers, using the internal Quality Sales Report (QSR), of guest counts, sales, budgets, profits and other controllable costs, and making necessary adjustments to ensure the highest profitability at the end of every period
- Developing and communicating a 16 week business plans for the kitchen
- Ensuring quality standards for food execution
- Auditing and influencing productivity, scheduling and labor costs
- Conducting daily walk-throughs of the restaurant to identify issues and concerns and communicate them to the General Manager; your partner in the business - the timeless environment
- Training employees on all company standards for the kitchen overall and for their specific roles
- Developing and driving kitchen systems and procedures to ensure consistency and profitability
