The Brewmaster will lead the brewing team and be responsible for recipe development, ingredient sourcing, and overall beer production.

  • Proven history of creating and producing great beer
  • Cost management
  • Able to open a new Brewery and taproom

The Brewmaster is responsible for the overall production and quality of beer. The Brewmaster will also be responsible for ensuring that all beer produced meets the highest quality standards and is consistent with the brewery's brand and style guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement brewing procedures and protocols to ensure consistent, high-quality beer production
  • Create and test new recipes for beer and cider
  • Source ingredients and manage inventory
  • Oversee all aspects of the brewing process, including mashing, boiling, fermenting, and conditioning
  • Monitor and maintain the brewery's equipment and facilities
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop new beers and promotions
  • Lead and manage the brewing team
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations related to brewing
  • Participate in the beer festivals, competitions, and other events to promote the brewery and its products
  • Ensure the quality of the beer by regularly monitoring its taste, color, and alcohol content
Qualifications:
  • Degree in brewing science or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in brewing and/or brewing management
  • Strong understanding of brewing science and techniques
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Experience with recipe development and ingredient sourcing
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
